Glue Kit is a small analytics script that runs on websites built and maintained by Atomic Glue. If a page you visited made a request to gluekit.dev, that was us, counting an anonymous pageview so the site's owner knows what's working.
That's our analytics endpoint. It receives lightweight pageview and event pings from sites Atomic Glue operates. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party trackers piggybacking along.
operationalThere are a few ways a Glue Kit request ends up in your traffic. None of them are exciting.
Atomic Glue builds websites and applications for companies and agencies. Some sites we operate include Glue Kit so the owner can see how visitors find them: what pages work, where traffic comes from, when something breaks.
A handful of agency partners run their internal tools and client dashboards on infrastructure we maintain. Those tools page home to Glue Kit for uptime and usage metrics. Never anything tied to your identity.
If a corporate DNS log or pi-hole surfaced gluekit.dev with no obvious source, it was almost certainly the analytics call from a normal browsing session. Safe to allow.
We built Glue Kit because off-the-shelf analytics ship with five trackers and a cookie banner. We didn't want that. Neither do our clients.
We're Atomic Glue, your new favorite nerds, helping companies and agencies build, optimize, and scale high-performing websites, applications, and digital marketing systems. Glue Kit is the analytics layer we ship by default, because every site we build deserves honest numbers.
If you have a question about a specific request, a data deletion ask, or you just want to know whether you can stop worrying about that line in your firewall log, head to our site and reach out. A real person reads everything.
